City Developments Limited

Sixty years, and the most entries in the pipeline

Lucerne Grand is developed by CDL Polaris Properties Pte Ltd, with Lucerne Galleria held by CDL Polaris Commercial Pte Ltd. Both are wholly owned subsidiaries of City Developments Limited.

CDL is listed on the Singapore Exchange and describes a network spanning 167 locations across 28 countries, a record of over 60 years in development, more than 55,000 homes built and around 23 million square feet of lettable floor area held. It also operates over 160 hotels, largely through Millennium Hotels and Resorts.

In Huttons’ pipeline data of 10 August 2026, CDL has six entries — more than any other developer — spanning Lucerne Grand, the Wynwood Grand and Solano Grand executive condominium sites, joint ventures at Tanjong Rhu Road and Peck Hay Road, and the former Delfi Orchard.

Where the name comes from. The developer’s own note says Lucerne Grand is named after the alpine lake town in Switzerland, for a “mountain and lake” architectural concept, with the mountain expressed in the exterior and the lake being Jurong Lake next door.
