Lucerne Galleria
A supermarket you do not have to drive to
The first storey is a separate commercial development, held by CDL Polaris Commercial, with its own community plaza, supermarket, restaurants and shops.
For a resident that is the practical difference between this and a conventional condominium on the same street: groceries, a coffee and dinner are inside the gate rather than two stops away. The commercial floor has its own service lift lobby, delivery bay and bicycle parking, so the residential circulation is kept separate from it.
Where it sits
The commercial floor, in plan
Block 40 is the commercial building. The community plaza opens towards Boon Lay Way and the station, with the supermarket, restaurants and shops behind it, and the commercial servicing kept on the far side from the residential lobbies.
Parking and access
456 lots, at 80 per cent
The two basement levels hold 456 standard car park lots and 6 accessible lots. 456 against 570 homes is the 80 per cent provision the fact sheet states, and the arithmetic agrees with the label. Vehicles enter and leave from Lakeside Drive, with the drop-off point in basement 1; commercial lots and the delivery bay are separated from the residential parking.
Certification
Green Mark Platinum, Super Low Energy
The development has achieved BCA’s Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy building certification. Super Low Energy is the tier above Platinum in BCA’s scheme and is awarded on measured energy performance rather than on design intent alone.
